Biographical Note

Tom Fey is a retired drug research pharmacologist with a life-long interest in piston aviation, mechanics, and the technology of all engine genres. His activities include the restoration of WWII gunnery target drone engines to running condition, researching and writing about WWII-era propeller technology, design-to-flight of radio-controlled aircraft, and volunteer restoration work on models and artifacts in the collection of the Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust - Allison Branch, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA (Current as of 4 August 2025).
