Abstract

There is a description of the photo taped to the back, which says, "Far Ultraviolet Camera/Spectroscope positioned for earth observations and star sightings from the lunar surface (Descartes landing site). The object is mapping of interplanetary, interstellar and intergalactic hydrogen. The American flag, Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), Astronaut Charles M. Duke Jr., and the Lunar Module are seen in the background."
