Abstract
There is a description of the photo on the back: "Apollo 14 Alsep On Moon--The Apollo Lunar Surface Experiment Package (ALSEP) site is photographed by one of the Apollo 14 astronauts during their first extravehicular activity (EVA-1). In the center forground is the Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (RTG), also called SNAP-27, the ALSEP power source. The ALSEP's Central Station is in the center background. The Mortar Package Assembly of the ALSEP's Active Seismic Experiment can be seen in the right background. Note shadow of astronaut taking the picture."
