The 31 boxes in this collection contain a variety of subjects and media. The collection encompasses Dr. Stuhlinger's work at NASA as well as housing a number of familial and personal effects such as photographs and diaries.

There is a short description of the photo in the postcard, which is in German: "Bremen, der wichtigste Stuckguthafen und sulichste Seehafen der Bundesrepublik, liegt ca. 80 km von der offenen Norsee entfernt an der Weser, hat heute ca. 547.000 Einwohner und wurde als Bischofssitz erstmals im Jahre 787 erwahnt."

Translation: Bremen, the most important cargo port and most desirable seaport in the Federal Republic, is about 80 km from the open North Sea on the Weser, today has about 547.000 inhabitants and was first mentioned in 787 as a bishopric.
