Abstract

Presentation at the Northeast Electronics Research and Engineering Meeting, Boston MA. The prime objective of Project Pegasus is to measure, in the vicinity of the earth, the meteoroid penetration frequency in aluminum sheets of thickness which approach those of space capsule walls. Knowledge of the abundance of penetrating meteoroids in the near-earth space is an indispensable requirement for the designer of spacecraft.
