Format & Physical Description
Format: stapled, loose-leaf booklet, 8.5”x11” (42 pages plus dark green cardstock covers). Printed on glossy paper. Includes black & white photographs, charts and drawings. Staples have been removed. Pages have been three-hole punched after publication without losing any information.
Publication Data
Publication Data: published "By Direction of the Chief of the Air Service" in Dayton, Ohio in December, 1922 to January 1923. On bottom of page 1 is text: "1-05-23-1M" which indicates booklet was printed on January 5, 1923.
Also on page 1 is this statement: "The title of this publication has been changed to "TECHNICAL BULLETIN," in compliance with a request from the Chief of Air Service, as it is proposed to issue the present series of "Letters of Instruction" in revised form under the name of "Technical Orders."
Note 1: Labeled "Confidential" on the cover. The following is on page 2: "The information contained herein is confidential and must not be published, either in whole or part, without the express permission of the Chief of the Air Service."
